More misery for St Pauli as Union takes the win
Jackson Irvine's St Pauli sits bottom of the early Bundesliga standings after suffering its second defeat from two matches, a 1-0 loss to Union Berlin away from home.
The result, Union's first win of the season, sees the capital side sitting at the top of the table with four points, although a full round of matches to come itsunlikely still to be there come the end of the matchday.
St Pauli, which lost 2-0 at home against Heidenheim on the opening matchday last week, had its chances to get occasions.
It was a deflected Benedict Hollerbach strike in the first half that ultimately settled the tie and leaves Pauli sill looking for a win since its promotion to Germany's top flight.
