Leeds regains top spot with victory over Norwich
Leeds United went back to the top of the EFL Championship with a 2-0 win over Norwich City.
Daniel Farke's men had been displaced at the summit the previous night when Sheffield United came from behind to beat 10-man Swansea City.
Leeds required no such heroics to move back into first place, leading from the very first minute thanks to Manor Solomon's opener in the 31st second.
It remained 1-0 until just past the hour mark, but another telling contribution from Solomon made the game safe as he teed up Dan James for the second.
Leeds moved a point above Sheffield United but still remains only three points clear of its next opponent Burnley, which thrashed Plymouth Argyle 5-0 away from home.
Pompey beat Stoke City 3-1 and is up to 18th, above its opponent by a point and still with a game in hand over several sides around it.
Elsewhere, Sheffield Wednesday was held to a 2-2 draw by Bristol City.
