Fiorentina drops points against 10-man Torino
Fiorentina failed to grab all three points against Torino in Serie A, drawing 1-1 at Stadio Artemio Franchi despite the visitors going down to 10 men more than 10 minutes before half-time.
Ali Dembele had already been booked on his full debut for Torino, and was shown a second yellow card and a subsequent red after 33 minutes for wrestling Michael Folorunsho to the ground on the halfway line.
Less than five minutes later and Fiorentina was ahead. An acrobatic effort from Andrea Colpani was parried by Vanja Milinkovic-Savic, but his save bounced up for Moise Kean to guide header into the back of the net.
Despite created plenty of chances and firing of a heap of shots, Fiorentina failed to find the net again and some sloppy play at the back saw substitute Gvidas Gineitis pounce on a short pass between the defenders and fire past David De Gea to equalise for the visitors.
Fiorentina remains in sixth place on the table but is level on points with seventh-placed Bologna after its win over Monza.
Torino is 11th, level on points with 12th-placed Genoa.
