Burnley comes from behind to take top spot
Burnley moved to the top of the EFL Championship, coming from behind to win 2-1 away to Coventry City and replace Leeds United as the league leader.
The Clarets went behind after ony five minutes at Coventry Building Society Arena after Haji Wright scored his fourth goal in his past three appearances.
The United States international survived appeals for offside for what was just the seventh away goal Burnley has conceded all season.
But Scott Parker's side responded brilliantly and went level through Jaidon Anthony 11 minutes later after a well-worked goal.
One minute into the second half, Anthony bagged both his and Burnley's second of the game to put it ahead after a defensive mix-up between Liam Kitching and goalkeeper Brad Collins.
The home side threw everything at Burnley as the second half wore on, but was unable to break the Clarets' resistance.
Tensions appeared to get the better of Coventry head coach Frank Lampard, who was sent off after the final whistle for something he said to the referee.
Defeat sees the Sky Blues stay sixth, although they are just one point above Bristol City, which has a game in hand.
Burnley, meanwhile, extended its unbeaten streak to 26 matches, 16 of those wins.
It is the club's longest run without defeat since a 30-game streak between September 1920 and March 1921.
