Burnley level with Leeds after another clean sheet
Burnley kept up its remarkable form to earn a narrow 1-0 victory over Bristol Rovers to keep it in the hunt for automatic promotion to the Premier League and possibly the EFL Championshiop title.
The Clarets were dominant throughout against the Robins but required a bit of magic to earn all three points, with Zian Flemming's exquisite free-kick nestling in the top corner.
Burnley had 14 shots but could not find another way through.
Its trusty defence stood strong once again, though, as Scott Parker's team kept a 21st clean sheet in 26 games, not allowing a single effort on target.
Burnley has 81 points, two adrift of leader Sheffield United, but crucially now level with second-placed Leeds United, which could only draw its match against Swansea City.
