Travis Kelce's Words After Super Bowl Win: Who Did He Remember?
As soon as they won their second consecutive ring, he assured that in Kansas City they are already thinking about achieving the third one next year.
Travis Kelce, just after winning his second consecutive Super Bowl with the Chiefs this Sunday, stated that in Kansas City they are already thinking about achieving their third consecutive ring.
"We've been on the bullseye all year. I love all the guys that are here, the men we've won this with, you guys are family forever. I couldn't be more proud of you," said the tight end at the Super Bowl awards ceremony.
The Kansas City Chiefs secured their second consecutive ring, the third in five years, by defeating the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime after an epic comeback.
"And now we have the opportunity to win three times in a row (...). We're going to party in Las Vegas and then get back to work," he continued.
Kelce, whose romance with Taylor Swift has been one of the big stories of the NFL season, was ecstatic on stage and even sang "Viva Las Vegas" by Elvis.
Right after his microphone speech, Kelce embraced Swift on the field, one of the most sought-after images of this Super Bowl.
The Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers 25-22 in overtime and successfully defended the title they won last year. It is the first time in 20 years that the NFL champion repeats the ring.
