Cameroon keep Ivory Coast alive as Group F set for a dramatic finale at AFCON 2025
Cameroon and Ivory Coast closed Matchday 2 of Group F at the Africa Cup of Nations with a draw that keeps Mozambique in the race and leaves everything wide open heading into the final round.
In one of the most anticipated matches of AFCON 2025 Group F, Ivory Coast and Cameroon were unable to find a winner and settled for a 1–1 draw, in a clash filled with drama, disallowed goals, controversy, and late twists, live on beIN SPORTS.
Cameroon dominated Ivory Coast
Ivory Coast enjoyed more possession, but struggled to create real danger, aside from a cross that struck the post following a moment of uncertainty from the Indomitable Lions’ goalkeeper.
Cameroon were far more threatening, hitting the woodwork twice and growing increasingly frustrated as their dominance failed to translate into goals.

Goals at unexpected moments
The opening goal went to Ivory Coast, who capitalized on a precise long ball that found Diallo, whose composed finish gave the Elephants the lead.
Just when it seemed Ivory Coast would claim all three points, Cameroon refused to back down and finally got their reward after Konan turned the ball into his own net, leveling the score.
The result leaves Group F completely open, with Mozambique still dreaming of a direct place in the Round of 16, setting the stage for a high-stakes final matchday.
