Cristiano Ronaldo Could Make This Sacrifice So That His Son Can Fulfill His Dream of Shining At... Real Madrid?
Cristiano Ronaldo continues to make headlines, and recent revelations suggest a major career move that could catch many by surprise, potentially marking his return to European football to compete at the highest level.

Could Cristiano Ronaldo Return to Europe to Boost His Son’s Career?
According to outlets like Marca and Daily Mirror, the Portuguese football legend is contemplating a new direction for his career and has requested time to decide whether his immediate future lies with Al-Nassr in Saudi Pro League football.
“Cristiano Ronaldo’s future at Al-Nassr is in doubt,” the reports state, noting that this stems from a “disappointing” season, which could lead to his departure for Europe. A second factor influencing the footballer’s decision is his son, Cristiano Ronaldo Jr., who recently debuted for the Portugal U-15 national team and is taking his first steps in professional football.
Currently, Ronaldo Jr. plays in the youth ranks of Al-Nassr, as he has done at every club his father has joined since he was old enough to play. This sets the stage for a scenario that could advance his career: playing in Europe, where the competitive level is significantly higher than in Saudi Arabia.
Various media outlets have speculated about the possibility of Cristiano Ronaldo returning to Real Madrid, though this seems highly unlikely given the club’s strict transfer policies. However, it’s not out of the question that the all-time leading goalscorer could choose another European club to stay close to his son and monitor his progress, as he has done since Ronaldo Jr. was young.
In the same vein, it’s expected that in the coming days, the Portuguese star will provide an update, with some reports, such as Al Riyadh, suggesting that retirement is also on his mind.
Despite this, it’s no secret that the forward dreams of reaching 1,000 career goals as a professional. He currently has 934 goals in 1,276 matches and aims to be in top form for the 2026 World Cup.
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr.’s Debut with Portugal
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr. played his first match in the Portugal jersey, featuring in a 4-1 victory for the U-15 team against Japan in a tournament held in Sveti Martin na Muri, Croatia.
Wearing his father’s iconic No. 7, Ronaldo Jr. started on the bench and entered in the second half as a left winger, the same position his father occupied early in his career.
With Ronaldo Jr. on the pitch for 26 minutes, Portugal maintained their lead, secured by a hat-trick from Rafael Cabral and a goal by Henrique Amen.
