"Robert has a slight injury," said the coach, who did not provide further details about the ailment in statements to Polish television before the start of the match.

Despite having played the full ninety minutes in the match that the Polish team played against Portugal last Saturday, Lewandowski was on the bench for the clash with Croatia, although he did get some minutes on the field.
