Neymar Closer to Returning to Brazil
Neymar's time in Saudi Arabia might be coming to an end soon, as Santos from Brazil is eyeing the former Barcelona and PSG player.
Neymar could be experiencing his final days as a player in the Saudi league, with his former team Santos from Brazil reportedly interested in bringing him back, as per Brazilian outlet UOL. They suggest he could return next year to play in the Brazilian league.
This rumor gained traction after Neymar was spotted at the match between Santos and Palmeiras in the first leg of the Paulistao final. The club president invited him to participate in the pre-match ceremony alongside legends Pepe and Clodoaldo.
However, Neymar is under contract with Al-Hilal until June 2025, so it's believed that once his commitment with the Arab club is fulfilled, he could return to Brazil. This would allow him to prepare and be ready for the 2026 World Cup, which will be held in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
Currently, Neymar has only played five matches with Al-Hilal, as he is recovering from a serious injury to the anterior cruciate ligament and meniscus in his left knee that he suffered in a World Cup 2026 qualifying match
between Brazil and Uruguay.
