Casa Pia have become a difficult opponent

The historical gap and differing ambitions between the two clubs naturally make Benfica the favorites, but recent results tell a very different story.

Casa Pia pulled off a surprising victory over the Eagles during the 2024/25 season and continued to cause them problems afterward. Both league meetings in the 2025/26 campaign ended in draws: 2-2 at the Estádio da Luz and 1-1 in the second meeting of the season.
