The two-time champion Boca Juniors, along with their compatriot Defensa y Justicia and Brazil's Internacional, will seek to conquer a new title in the Copa Sudamericana, which held the group stage draw in the Paraguayan city of Luque this Monday.
Boca Juniors, who lifted the Copa Sudamericana in 2004 and 2005, topped Group D, where they will face Brazil's Fortaleza, Bolivia's Nacional Potosí, and Paraguay's Sportivo Trinidense.
Similarly, Defensa y Justicia from Argentina took the lead in Group A, aiming to replicate their 2020 campaign when they won this tournament.
Meanwhile, Brazil's Internacional will aim to repeat their 2008 success leading Group C.
This year's tournament will see six representatives from Argentina and an equal number from Brazil, along with four teams that dropped from the Copa Libertadores in the third phase.
Additionally, 16 clubs that earned their spot in the first stage of the Sudamericana will participate.
The top team from each group will advance to the round of 16, while the second-placed teams will compete in a playoff to progress in the competition.

- Group A: Defensa y Justicia (ARG), Ind Medellín (COL), Universidad César Vallejo (PER), and Always Ready (BOL).
- Group B: Cruzeiro (BRA), Unión La Calera (CHI), Universidad Católica (ECU), and Alianza FC (COL).
- Group C: Internacional (BRA), Delfín (ECU), Belgrano (ARG), and Real Tomayapo (BOL).
- Group D: Boca Juniors (ARG), Fortaleza (BRA), Nacional Potosí (BOL), and Sportivo Trinidense (PAR).
- Group E: Atlético Paranaense (BRA), Danubio (URU), Sportivo Ameliano (PAR), and Rayo Zuliano (VEN).
- Group F: Corinthians (BRA), Argentinos Juniors (ARG), Racing (URU), and Nacional (PAR).
- Group G: Lanús (ARG), Metropolitanos (VEN), Cuiabá (BRA), and Deportivo Garcilaso (PER).
- Group H: Racing (ARG), Coquimbo Unido (CHI), Sportivo Luqueño (PAR), and Red Bull Bragantino (BRA).
