Goals will be abundant in the upcoming edition of the Copa Sudamericana, as there is no shortage of talent in this lineup, featuring prominent names who will even experience their first venture in the continental competition.
Edinson Cavani (Boca Juniors): After reaching the Copa Libertadores final in the previous season, the Uruguayan forward has the opportunity to debut in the Sudamericana, a competition that 'Xeneize' conquered in 2004 and 2005.
Enner Valencia (Internacional): The Ecuadorian was the top scorer in the 2013 edition while playing for Emelec, and now he returns with the Brazilian club, one of the favorites to win this tournament.
Lucas Pratto (Olimpia): The Argentine finds himself in Paraguay with the chance to leave his mark in the continental tournament. He previously played in the Sudamericana with Velez Sarsfield in 2013, scoring two of the 32 total goals he has netted in both Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores.
Remember that Copa Sudamericana and Copa Libertadores are exclusively on beIN SPORTS.
Lucas Alario (Internacional): The Argentine, recently arrived in Porto Alegre, will be part of a dangerous attack alongside Enner Valencia and Santos Borré. Rafael Santos Borré (Internacional): The Colombian is another player returning from the old continent, and with the team led by Eduardo Coudet, he will experience his first venture in the Copa Sudamericana.
Roger Martínez (Racing): The Colombian has returned home to the Avellaneda club, where they await his best performance in the international commitment of the Copa Sudamericana. Although he played minutes in this tournament in 2013, he did not manage to score.
Ángel Romero (Corinthians): The historic Brazilian club returns to the Sudamericana intending to surpass their previous participation, where they were eliminated by Brazil's Fortaleza. Ángel Romero has extensive experience in competitions of this caliber, although he has yet to score more than two assists in this particular one.
Agustín Cannobio (Athletico Paranaense): Scored four goals between 2019 and 2021 with his former club Peñarol, which reached the semifinals of this tournament.
