Rodrigo Bentancur gave everyone a big scare during the match between Tottenham Hotspur and Liverpool when he collapsed unconscious on the pitch.

The Uruguayan international attempted a header with an awkward twist and fell to the ground, motionless. 

His teammates reacted quickly, and medical staff rushed to his aid. Shortly after, he was stretchered off the field wearing an oxygen mask.

Tottenham later issued a statement regarding the player’s condition, confirming that he was conscious and on his way to the hospital for further medical tests.

Bentancur's Message

In the early hours, Bentancur himself shared a reassuring message on social media: "All good, guys! Thank you for the messages!!! Congratulations for the victory boys!!! 🥰😍".
