The Portuguese national team will face its final test before the World Cup, in a match that also serves as a farewell to its supporters before departing for North America.
HALF-TIME

NIGERIA STARTING XI
The Super Eagles are set for kickoff and will also mark a special occasion, as Alex Iwobi makes his 100th appearance for the Nigerian national team, a milestone being celebrated by the squad before the match.
GOOD BYE AND SEE YOU IN USA!
Portugal will face Nigeria on Wednesday, June 10, in its final warm-up match before opening its campaign at the 2026 FIFA World Cup.
The side managed by Roberto Martínez is putting the finishing touches on its preparations against the Super Eagles, a team that, despite failing to qualify for the tournament, remains a challenging opponent.
The match will be played at Estádio Dr. Magalhães Pessoa in Leiria, where Portugal will bid farewell to its supporters before departing for the United States.
THE NUMBERS ARE TALKING
Portugal will be aiming to enter the World Cup on a five-match unbeaten streak. The Selecao has not tasted defeat since its penultimate World Cup qualifying fixture against Republic of Ireland national football team in November 2025.
Since then, Portugal has thrashed Armenia national football team 9-1 in competitive action before recording a scoreless draw against Mexico national football team and friendly victories over the United States men's national soccer team (2-0) and Chile national football team (2-1).
Remarkably, Portugal and Nigeria have met only once before. Their lone encounter came in a 2017 friendly, which Portugal won convincingly 4-0.
