Ancelotti to Saudi Arabia? What the Real Madrid Coach Said About His Future
Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has not ruled out the possibility of coaching in Saudi Arabia in the future, depending on whether he decides to continue his managerial career after leaving Los Blancos.
"Why not? If I want to keep coaching after I finish here... why not?" the Italian tactician responded in a press conference when asked about his future.
Ancelotti’s Take on Saudi Interest in Vinícius Júnior
The Saudi Arabia question arose due to rumors linking Vinícius Júnior with a potential move to the Saudi Pro League. However, Ancelotti dismissed any concerns regarding the Brazilian star’s future.
"I’m tired of this topic, yes. Am I worried? No. Do I see him happy? Yes. And we are happy with him," Ancelotti stated.
The Italian coach emphasized that Real Madrid is not discussing these rumors internally and that Vinícius remains fully focused on the team.
"I see the same Vinícius as always, eager to perform well. He’s recovering his best physical form after injuries, and I see him very motivated," he assured.
Ancelotti also denied any club dissatisfaction regarding Vinícius’ contract renewal or the speculation about a potential Saudi move.
Saudi Arabia’s Growing Influence in Football
Beyond his personal future, Ancelotti acknowledged Saudi Arabia’s growing investment in football, particularly as they prepare to host the 2034 FIFA World Cup.
"It shouldn't be surprising that a country wants to invest in football. They have every right to prepare for the World Cup. Right now, their league is less competitive than Europe's, but in the future, it could be," he commented.
