Barcelona Smiles: Andreas Christensen Back in Training
Barcelona defender Andreas Christensen completed training with the squad this Thursday as the team resumed activities at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper after a day of rest.
Christensen Close to Returning
The Danish center-back suffered a soleus injury in his right leg during training ahead of the Champions League match against Atalanta on January 28. At the time, his recovery was expected to take about three weeks.
If Christensen gets through Friday’s training session without issues, he could receive medical clearance and be included in Barça’s squad for the LaLiga clash against Las Palmas on Saturday at 21:00.
Final Preparations Before the Trip
The team will train again on Friday at 14:30 at Sant Joan Despí. An hour earlier, head coach Hansi Flick will hold a press conference. After the session, Barcelona will travel to Las Palmas for the match.
