Carlo Ancelotti: "I’m Like Mbappé, I’m Doing Everything to Improve"
“I’m like Mbappé. I’m doing everything to achieve my best version. The results show I haven’t managed it yet. I’m not happy, but I’m just the right amount of concerned. I’m confident we’ll fix this, as we always do. Personally, I’m happy,” said the Italian manager.
Italian coach of Real Madrid, Carlo Ancelotti, compared his current situation to that of forward Kylian Mbappé while addressing the challenges his team is facing. He acknowledged that he is “doing everything” to achieve his best version, though the results have not yet reflected that.
"Problems Always Come, But They Can Be Solved"
Ancelotti reflected on the challenges of this season, noting that difficulties are normal and better addressed early in the campaign. “In many years of my career, only one was relatively easy, which was last year. In the rest, I’ve had to solve problems. Problems will always come. It’s better to face them in December than in April or May; then you’re done for,” he stated.
The coach admitted that the team is struggling to create goal-scoring opportunities, something evident in recent games like the match against Liverpool. “We might have lacked accuracy in some matches, especially when there weren’t many chances. With better precision in transitions, we could have created more opportunities,” he commented.
A Coach Who Respects His Peers
Ancelotti also spoke about his next opponent, Spanish coach José Bordalás, whom he faces this Sunday. “He’s a very good friend, and I admire him a lot as a person and a coach,” he said with respect.
Finally, the manager emphasized that any decisions about transfers would be evaluated in January, depending on how the team’s injuries evolve. “It’s a waste of time to think about signing players now. We have a month to consider it. Alaba is doing very well and will return soon; everything must be evaluated,” he concluded.
