Hansi Flick’s Threat Leaves Real Madrid Shaking
The Barça coach says he wants more trophies in 2026 and is already working on an even stronger team.
After a memorable season, Hansi Flick isn’t letting up. The FC Barcelona manager, who just secured LaLiga, the Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup, made it clear he’s not satisfied. In his farewell at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, the German coach sent a warning that echoes in the Spanish capital: “I want more titles next year.”
A Solid Project With Eyes on the Future
Barça under Flick has brought joy back to its fans. With an aggressive, organized, and confident playing style, the team connected deeply with its supporters. “All season long I’ve felt the connection between the fans and my players. What we accomplished together created that bond,” said the coach after the final home match.
While celebrating the domestic treble, Flick stayed humble. Instead of soaking up the spotlight, he joined the team circle on the pitch, giving credit to his players. “They deserve this; they did an incredible job,” he told Dazn.
A Message That Worries Madrid
Amid the celebrations, Flick shared a key story from his arrival at the club: “The president wrote to me saying it’s not just about winning, but about how we play and the kind of football we create.” That message resonated with the German, who immediately focused on implementing an attractive, attacking, and disciplined style of play.
He also recalled a critical moment in December after losing at home to Atlético de Madrid. “That loss was a turning point. I told my players that was the way I wanted us to play. With Frenkie and Gavi returning, everything changed for the better.”
Now, with a return to the renovated Spotify Camp Nou on the horizon, Flick isn’t hiding his ambition. “We need to work even harder. Our goal is to keep improving. I’m very happy here and I know we can achieve more.”
With comments like these, Hansi Flick isn’t just strengthening Barcelona—he’s also sending a clear warning to Real Madrid, who now knows their greatest rival won’t settle for just one successful season. The 2025–26 campaign promises an even fiercer battle at the top of Spanish football.
