The Player of the Year at Real Madrid is...
Jude Bellingham has impressed so much in his first season with the white club that he has won this award.
Jude Bellingham, the English midfielder for Real Madrid, was awarded the 'Five-Star Mahou Player' of the Real Madrid for the 2023/24 season, and he acknowledged feeling "blessed," highlighting the "honor" he feels playing with his current club teammates.
With 23 goals in 42 matches, Bellingham has been a key part of Real Madrid's success in his first season at the club, helping them win the Champions League, LaLiga EA Sports, and the Spanish Super Cup.
"I am really proud to achieve it in my first year. It makes me very happy, and I am very grateful to the fans for choosing me. I am very happy to be here and be part of this family. I hope you have enjoyed watching me play. It has been a great year," he said upon receiving the award.
"To be honest, I love every minute and every second of being here. It's hard to pick one word or phrase to describe it. Every time I go out, I feel blessed. Playing with these players, with this team, is an honor," he added to the club's media.
Reflecting on the just-ended season with Real Madrid and his upcoming participation with his national team, England, in the Euro Cup in Germany, Bellingham chose moments that are already unforgettable from his first year in Spain.
"I have a few moments that stand out. My first goal against Barcelona, from outside the box, was a very good moment because it got us back in the game after being behind. I enjoyed that goal a lot. I also love the goal against Napoli, with the dribble."
