Both players will miss the upcoming playoff matches for Spain against Netherlands, scheduled for March 20 and 23, as part of the Nations League Final Four qualification. Íñigo Martínez, who played the full match against Atlético, has an internal parameniscitis in his right knee, which will require treatment in Barcelona under the supervision of the club’s medical staff.
Casadó, who also started the match but was substituted in the 67th minute, injured his right knee ligament and is awaiting further tests to determine the extent of the injury and the subsequent treatment. Barcelona’s next match will be on Sunday, March 30, after the international break, when Girona visits the Estadio Olímpico Lluís Companys in LaLiga EA Sports.
