In an interview with Instant Foot, Rami didn’t hold back:

“As a human being, I can’t stand him anymore. I couldn’t care less if people agree or not. In terms of football, I have nothing to say—he’s a beast and will win Ballon d’Ors, European Cups, and all that. But as a person… fu** him. That’s clear.”

The former Marseille player even went after Yamal’s much-talked-about 18th birthday party and criticized his flashy lifestyle:

“He’s throwing parties, and people are already talking about it. Wait a bit, you son of a b***! He takes the number 10 shirt and walks around with giant diamonds... Thinks he’s American. It’s trash.”*

Rami also took issue with the way Yamal greeted Cristiano Ronaldo at the Nations League final and accused him of copying prison fashion:

“Seeing him doing his nonsense with sagging shorts… that comes from prisons in the U.S. and Mexico. It was the look of someone who wanted to get f**ed. It all annoys me. Just wait, you son of a b****.”*

Rami’s obsession with the teen’s style and behavior crossed into the personal. It’s not the first time he’s made harsh remarks, but this time, his rage went off the rails.

Meanwhile, Yamal stays focused on Barça

Far from the drama, Yamal is fully focused on Barcelona’s preseason, where he now officially wears the legendary No.10 shirt, once worn by icons like Messi, Ronaldinho, and Maradona.
