Growing Concern Over Mbappé at Real Madrid
Real Madrid are increasingly concerned about Kylian Mbappé’s recent behaviour, with tensions rising over absences, controversies and his situation inside the dressing room.
Kylian Mbappé has become the main talking point at Real Madrid in recent weeks, although not for his performances on the pitch. The French forward is going through a delicate moment at the club due to a series of incidents that have caused discomfort both in the boardroom and within the dressing room.
Doubts began after his recent trip to Italy with his partner, in the middle of a difficult sporting period for the team. This was followed by his last-minute withdrawal from El Clásico against Barcelona due to muscle discomfort, as well as controversy sparked by an Instagram post published while Real Madrid were already trailing 2-0.
Inside the club, there is growing confusion about the French striker’s behaviour in recent weeks, with officials believing there must be a reason behind it, although Mbappé has not reportedly given any explanation to anyone within the organisation.
Another key issue is his strained relationship with coach Álvaro Arbeloa. According to reports, Mbappé had a strong connection with Xabi Alonso and did not understand or accept the departure of the Basque coach from the project.
French media, including L’Équipe, also report that the forward is now distanced from much of the dressing room and mainly maintains relationships with the French players in the squad.
Although Real Madrid’s top hierarchy still consider Mbappé untouchable within the project, there are internal voices questioning the lack of on-field connection between the French star and Vinícius Júnior.
The sporting relationship between both attackers continues to raise doubts, and some within the club would not rule out the possibility of selling one of them if the situation does not improve. According to those views, Mbappé would be the more likely departure option, although such a move is currently not being considered by the club’s leadership.
With three matches remaining this season, one of the biggest questions is whether Mbappé will feature again before the campaign ends. He is expected to play at least one of those games, but uncertainty around the French star remains high.
The situation surrounding the player, seen as a key figure in Real Madrid’s future, has become one of the most sensitive issues at the club in the final stretch of the season.
