Jose Mourinho blocks Endrick’s potential Real Madrid exit to AC Milan
AC Milan has its sights set on Endrick, but José Mourinho’s stance could change the Brazilian striker’s plans. With limited minutes at Real Madrid, his future is becoming a key talking point ahead of January.
José Mourinho does not want Endrick to leave Real Madrid for AC Milan. The Portuguese coach defended the Brazilian striker and warned interested clubs that securing his departure will not be easy, despite the limited playing time he has received during the 2026-27 season.
MOURINHO SENDS A WARNING TO INTERESTED CLUBS
“Forget it, forget it, interested clubs. You’d better sit down and wait, because you’ll get tired of waiting,” José Mourinho told TNT Sports Brasil.
The coach also expressed his admiration for the forward: “He’s a player I adore, a player I really like. He has incredible potential and is very important to us.”
The Portuguese manager acknowledged that he has yet to give the Brazilian a genuine opportunity after the striker spent four or five weeks sidelined with an injury. Mourinho even considered using him against Villarreal, but Real Madrid’s goal and Vinícius Júnior’s sending-off changed his plans.
“Anyone interested in Endrick will have to fight me hard, because I don’t think he needs to go out on loan, and I believe he will be very successful here,” Mourinho concluded.
LACK OF PLAYING TIME RAISES QUESTIONS ABOUT ENDRICK’S FUTURE
The coach’s confidence contrasts with Endrick’s limited involvement. The Brazilian has played just four official minutes in the 2026-27 season, coming on as a substitute against Elche on September 15. His injury and competition for places in attack have limited his opportunities to establish himself in Real Madrid’s rotation.
A loan move could help him regain consistency and accumulate valuable playing time, but Mourinho believes he can fulfill his potential at the Santiago Bernabéu. The challenge will be turning that confidence into meaningful opportunities on the pitch.
AC MILAN DEVELOPS ITS STRATEGY TO SIGN ENDRICK
AC Milan views Endrick as a potential addition to its attack during the January transfer window. According to reports surrounding the proposed move, the Italian club had stepped up its interest, with a temporary loan deal emerging as a possible route to bringing the Brazilian to San Siro.
The prospect of Endrick finding more first-team opportunities in Serie A than he has received in Spain has fueled Milan’s interest. However, Mourinho’s stance represents a significant obstacle. With the January transfer window approaching, AC Milan may have to wait while Real Madrid assesses the future of one of its promising young attacking talents.
