Felix Magath has made his position clear regarding who should take charge of Real Madrid next season. The experienced German coach believes Jürgen Klopp is the ideal candidate.

Speaking in a recent interview, Magath praised Klopp’s ability to manage star-studded squads, referencing his successful spell with Liverpool FC: “Klopp would be the right one. He did a great job at Liverpool and knows how to deal with influential players. He can control that dressing room.”

Magath’s opinion carries weight due to his experience coaching FC Schalke 04, where he famously helped Raúl González rediscover top form. He also praised Raúl’s potential as a future coach, expressing confidence that he will become a great manager.

Regarding the current situation, Magath admitted the role would be difficult for any coach, a clear nod to the challenging period under Álvaro Arbeloa.

He also addressed the controversial red card shown to Eduardo Camavinga during the UEFA Champions League quarterfinal clash against Bayern Múnich. Magath called the decision harsh, though he admitted Bayern deserved to progress over the full 180 minutes.

His comments have reignited speculation over Madrid’s managerial future, placing Klopp firmly among the top names linked with the job.
