Dybala and Paredes Could Play Together at Boca Juniors, Someone Close Says
A lot has been said about Leandro Paredes returning to Boca Juniors, but now there's even more reason for Boca fans to celebrate (though River Plate supporters won't be too pleased). There’s a slight chance that Paulo Dybala could join the team — at least that’s what’s being whispered in his inner circle.
What Did Paulo Dybala's Partner Say?
Oriana Sabatini, the player’s partner, jokingly revealed that it would cause “problems” at home, especially with her father, Osvaldo, a devoted River Plate fan. However, she didn’t entirely dismiss the possibility.
"I'm going to have some really big problems at home if Paulo goes to Boca. My dad, he's definitely not indifferent about it. It's a serious matter in my house," Sabatini shared on Bondi Live.
"It would have been Paulo's dad’s dream, for sure. I’m just in the middle. Whatever has to happen will happen. I’ll support him, no worries."
A Subtle Hint
Paulo Dybala has long been linked with Boca Juniors. The AS Roma star is not only a close friend of Paredes but also shares a connection with Boca's passionate world.
When asked, Paredes, a proud Boca fan, has often teased the idea of bringing Dybala along if he ever returned to Argentina. "I'd take Paulo with me," he once said, instantly fueling excitement and debates among Boca supporters.
What Has Dybala Said About Playing for Boca Juniors?
During a lighthearted streaming session with Spanish personality Ibai Llanos, Dybala opened up about his family’s mixed football loyalties.
"My dad is a Boca fan, my mom and one of my brothers support River Plate, and my other brother is a fan of Independiente," Dybala laughed. Ibai jokingly replied, "What a mess you have in your family, Dybala!"
The Argentine striker acknowledged that his father’s passion for Boca had a significant influence on him. "Football was always something my dad passed down to us," he said, before adding with a grin, "So, I watched football with my father."
A clear hint, perhaps? As they say — for those who understand, a few words are enough.
