AS Monaco pulled off an important away victory against Stade Rennes in Week 7 of Ligue 1, winning 2-1 with goals from Thilo Kehrer and Folarin Balogun for Adi Hutter's side, while Ludovic Blas scored for the home team.

Monaco struck first with a corner kick in the 6th minute when Thilo Kehrer found the net in Rennes' area. Rennes responded five minutes later with a screamer from Ludovic Blas, who shot the ball into the top left corner.

However, Balogun was the real hero, as the American international stepped up at the perfect time for the visitors. After Rennes had just equalized, Balogun became the hero in the 22nd minute, cleverly chipping the ball to secure Monaco's lead from that point on.

With this result, AS Monaco temporarily sits at the top of the Ligue 1 standings with 19 points, while Stade Rennes remains in tenth place with seven points.
