Ligue 1 is One of the Favorite Destinations Pogba is Considering for his Return to Action
Paul Pogba believes that Ligue 1 would be a great destination to relaunch his career after serving a doping ban
On March 11, Paul Pogba was officially released from his doping suspension, which had kept him from playing since September 2023, when he was still a Juventus player before terminating his contract in November. Since then, hardly a week goes by without speculation about Pogba's future, as he sees Ligue 1 as an ideal place to start reviving his career.

Olympique de Marseille dreams of Pogba
While continuing to train alone in Miami as he waits for an offer that meets his expectations, 'Sky Germany' revealed this morning what Paul Pogba's intentions are for the future. He is determined to explore a destination where he hasn’t played yet, preferably in one of Europe’s top five leagues. With experience in the Premier League (Manchester United) and Serie A (Juventus), the remaining options on the table include LaLiga, Bundesliga, and Ligue 1.
Many clubs would be interested in signing a player of Paul Pogba’s stature, hoping to help him return to his best form. However, in recent months he has been strongly linked with Olympique de Marseille. In fact, the club’s president, Pablo Longoria, confirmed the existence of talks a few weeks ago. Additionally, Derek Cornelius told 'BeINSPORTS' he would support signing a player like Pogba.
Pogba will consider all offers
Still, Paul Pogba is in no rush and is willing to consider all the offers his representatives receive to determine the best option to reignite his career. “I never imagined I’d be a free agent at this point in my career. There are offers. They’re coming from everywhere. I want to see what suits me best. Because I’m at a crucial moment in my life and career. This is a decision I’m going to take time to weigh carefully,” he recently said in an interview with 'GQ.'
Pogba’s goal is to remain in one of Europe’s top five leagues. However, it may be difficult for Olympique de Marseille or any other club to meet his financial expectations… which is where MLS and the Saudi Pro League could step in. In fact, there are two clubs closely monitoring his situation. One is Inter Miami, due to his strong relationship with Beckham. The other, according to 'Téléfoot,' is Al-Ittihad, which features a number of fellow French players like Benzema, Kanté, Diaby, and Aouar.
