Mika Biereth's Hat-Trick Leads Monaco to Victory
After two defeats in their last three matches, Monaco returned to winning ways this Friday with a 3-0 victory over Reims, thanks to a hat-trick from Danish forward Mika Biereth. With this result, the Monegasques reclaimed fourth place in Ligue 1, tying on points (43) with Nice, the third-placed team.

Adi Hütter’s team had everything in their favor. Playing away gave them confidence, and their five shots on target in the first half demonstrated their dominance, though they only managed to convert twice.
The breakthrough came in the 34th minute when Brazilian Caio Henrique delivered a precise cross that Biereth turned into the opening goal. Just five minutes later, the Danish striker struck again, finishing near Yehvann Diouf's right post to make it 2-0.
Sealing the Win and an Injury Concern
In the second half, Monaco secured the win with Biereth's third goal, as he capitalized on a rebound inside the box to score in the 51st minute. However, the night ended on a sour note for the hat-trick hero, as he was forced to leave the pitch in the 79th minute due to an injury.
Recent inconsistencies have distanced Monaco from the top spot, which remains firmly in the hands of a dominant Paris Saint-Germain, leading the table with 59 points.
