PSG Officially Announces Key Contract Extensions
Paris Saint-Germain announced this Friday, just before their Ligue 1 match against AS Monaco, the contract extensions of Spanish head coach Luis Enrique until 2027, Moroccan defender Achraf Hakimi until 2029, and Portuguese players Nuno Mendes (2030) and Vitinha (2029).
Luis Enrique Commits to Long-Term Project
The contract renewal for the former Spain national team coach was signed months ago, with only the official announcement pending. After arriving in the summer of 2023, the manager decided, alongside the Parisian club's board, to extend his tenure for two more years.
Hakimi and Nuno Mendes joined the team in 2021 and will remain in the French capital for four and five more seasons, respectively. Meanwhile, Vitinha arrived during the 2022-2023 campaign. Since Luis Enrique's arrival, all three players have won five titles with the club.
