PSG Put on a Show to Overwhelm Monaco
Paris Saint-Germain managed to mitigate the damage caused by a serious error from Gianluigi Donnarumma to end up dominating (5-2) AS Monaco in the return to club action after the international break. Luis Enrique's team secured their sixth consecutive victory in Ligue 1, thanks to goals from Gonçalo Ramos (22’), Kylian Mbappé (39’), Ousmane Dembélé (70’), Vitinha (72’), and Randal Kolo Muani (90’+6).
AS Monaco responded with goals from Takumi Minamino (22’), who equalized after Donnarumma's mistake, and another from American striker Folarin Balogun (75’), but it was insufficient to avoid PSG's onslaught.
With this result, Luis Enrique's team sits comfortably atop the league table with 30 points, currently unreachable. Meanwhile, AS Monaco holds the third position with 24 points.
