PSG Renews French Prodigy Zaire Emery
Paris Saint-Germain announced the renewal of their most promising young star, midfielder Warren Zaïre-Emery, until 2029.
Zaïre-Emery, who turned 18 in March, has solidified his place this season in the heart of PSG's midfield under coach Luis Enrique and has even made his debut for the French national team.
PSG's announcement came shortly before their league match against Le Havre, which ended in a 3-3 draw, delaying the Parisians' title triumph.
"I'm very happy and proud to have signed my renewal," the player said in a statement to the team's television, emphasizing, "It's a huge honor for me to continue the adventure with the club where I've developed."
Born in Montreuil, on the outskirts of Paris, Zaïre-Emery joined PSG in 2014 at just eight years old, and has progressed through all the youth sections of the capital club, now even becoming a French national team player.
