Although the match was evenly contested, the balance tilted in favor of the visitors in the final stretch. In the 72nd minute, Jordan Ferri broke the deadlock, and finally, in the 80th minute, Christopher Jullien scored the second for Montpellier.
Despite the setbacks earlier in the season, Montpellier has managed to recover to reach 12th position in the table, while Le Havre is just one point above the relegation zone with 27 points in 15th place.
