Messi Launches New Business: Full of Flavor and Perfect for a Barbecue
The Argentine is making the most of his vacation and has launched his new venture. Here's more about it.
After being eliminated early from the MLS, Lionel Messi is enjoying a well-deserved vacation while eagerly awaiting the start of his pre-season with Inter Miami. But in the meantime, he's not wasting any time and has announced his latest business venture.
What is Messi's New Business? 🍷
Messi has launched a premium line of wines under the name 10 GOAT, a nod to the number he wears with both his club and national team, as well as the acronym "Greatest of All Time."
The development of this new product was handled by Italian winery MM Winemaker, with wines crafted in the renowned regions of Campania, Puglia, and Sicily. The launch features two exceptional varieties: Syrah and Primitivo.
The Design: A Collector's Dream 🇦🇷
One of the most distinctive features of Messi's wine is the design of the bottles, which have already become a coveted item among collectors. Each bottle is adorned with exclusive illustrations of the world champion with Argentina, who is 37 years old.
“We are very satisfied with the result of this collection, which honors a true legend while blending exceptional quality with our rich winemaking heritage. Each bottle has been crafted with care and precision, turning it into not just a beverage, but a collectible masterpiece for our customers,” reads the statement from the winery.
Messi's Impact Beyond the Field
“Leo Messi doesn’t just conquer stadiums, but also the palates of wine lovers around the world,” said the brand, which carries the signature of the eight-time Ballon d'Or winner who, in 2024, captured both the Copa América and the Supporter’s Shield with his club.
Messi shared the launch on his social media, posting an image of the product. "Some of you asked about these unique wines," he wrote on his Instagram, including a link for online purchases.
Messi's Expanding Business Ventures
A few months ago, the former PSG and Barcelona player introduced an isotonic drink bearing his name, and now he is venturing into the wine industry. Beyond his success with the ball, Messi continues to diversify his business portfolio. From image contracts, which have multiplied since his arrival in U.S. soccer, to his hotel chain and the thermos products that carry his name, which have gained popularity in various markets, Messi is now making his mark in the wine world.
