From Forest to the Top
Manchester City officially announced on Thursday the arrival of Elliot Anderson, an English midfielder coming from Nottingham Forest in a deal valued at 116 million dollars. The player signed a five-season contract and assured that he was always determined to finalize the transfer, convinced that his future should be in the elite of world football.
Anderson became a key player for Nottingham Forest after leaving Newcastle in 2024. In two brilliant campaigns, he led the club to finish seventh in the Premier League and to compete in a Europa League semifinal. Even in the last season, marked by the fight for survival, he led statistics in touches (3,300), recoveries (306), duels won (297), and fouls received (80), establishing himself as one of the most complete midfielders in the English league.
