How and Where to Watch: Sporting Braga vs. Sporting CP LIVE on beIN SPORTS
Sporting CP have no margin for error in crucial must-win match against Braga.
Sporting CP's start to the Liga Portugal season would ordinarily be considered a solid one ahead of the team's away trip at Sporting Braga live on beIN SPORTS on Friday.
The 21-times league champions are in third with 15 points from 21 and are still undefeated through seven games. However, the Portuguese top-flight is unforgiving with Porto in its current form. The reigning champions lost just two matches in its title run last season, and Porto is in the same run of form this year with seven wins from seven.
This makes mistakes from Sporting CP's previous two league matches even more costly. The last two games have been drawn. The first was a 1-1 tie at Familicao, where Sporting was leading until the final minute. The following match day saw history repeating but with twice the damage. Sporting CP led 2-0 until the final ten minutes of normal time before conceding twice.
These are mistakes that Friday's opponents, Sporting Braga, are more than capable of repeating. The home side is currently with just one loss but has played one less game than the visitors who will be looking for the ever-impressive Luis Suarez to improve on his six league goals scored already this season.
