Galatasaray aiming to shake up the transfer market with Leroy Sané and Victor Osimhen signings
Galatasaray is looking to make serious waves in the transfer market this summer with two blockbuster moves. According to reports from Fabrizio Romano, Emre Kaplan, and Florian Plettenberg, the Turkish giants have already submitted formal offers for Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen and German winger Leroy Sané—hoping to boost their status in Europe and be a real threat in next season’s Champions League.
Osimhen’s dream return
After a standout loan spell in Istanbul, bringing Osimhen back has become a top priority for the club. The striker reportedly turned down massive offers from Al-Hilal (worth between $28M and $32M a year) and is now being courted by Galatasaray, who are trying to lure him with an ambitious and competitive project. It won’t be easy, though—Chelsea and other European clubs are in the mix—but the Turkish side is ready to go all-in to make it happen.

Sané, the summer bombshell
As ambitious as Osimhen would be, signing Leroy Sané would be an absolute bombshell. The German international, whose contract with Bayern Munich is still up in the air, has reportedly been offered a whopping €10M net per season—an amount that would make him one of the highest-paid players in the Süper Lig. According to Emre Kaplan, talks with his camp have gone well, and the player is open to a fresh start.
Sané, who was reportedly blown away by the atmosphere at the Nef Stadium during a Champions League match in 2023, is seriously considering the move. While Bayern is still trying to hold on to him, financial disagreements and a recent switch to super-agent Pini Zahavi could tip the scales toward Istanbul.
With these two potential deals, Galatasaray is making it clear: they don’t just want to rule Turkey—they’re aiming to compete toe-to-toe with Europe’s elite. If either of these signings comes through, it would go down as one of the biggest moves of the summer window.
