According to journalist Florian Plettenberg of Sky Sport Germany, the Turkish side rejected a verbal offer of around $150 million from Al-Hilal through an intermediary.
The proposal did not even lead to negotiations. Galatasaray reportedly immediately made it clear that it was not willing to sit down and discuss the future of its striker, a strong indication of Osimhen’s value within the team.
After turning Osimhen into one of the biggest stars in its squad, Galatasaray would rather keep the striker than put a price on his departure.
Al-Hilal Puts $150 Million on the Table
According to Plettenberg, the $150 million proposal was communicated verbally through an intermediary. The detail is important because, at least for now, it was not a formal offer that led to talks between the two clubs.
Even so, the figure shows the magnitude of Al-Hilal’s interest. Al-Hilal is willing to put an extraordinary amount of money on the table for the Nigerian striker, but Galatasaray believes the figure is not enough to change its current position.
The situation raises an obvious question: how much would Al-Hilal have to offer to convince Galatasaray to change its mind? For now, even $150 million has not been enough.
Osimhen Also Has His Future in Mind
Although Galatasaray remains firm, the future of Victor Osimhen could still generate movement this summer. The striker would reportedly be open to a move if an offer emerges that is attractive to both him and the club.
One of the destinations most frequently linked with him has been Atlético de Madrid, given the player’s interest in continuing his career in Europe. According to information provided by Rubén Uría, Osimhen was reportedly offered to the Spanish club for around $86.5 million, although that possibility has not moved forward for now.

The rejection of $150 million makes Osimhen one of the most intriguing names on the transfer market. Not necessarily because there is a specific asking price for his departure, but because Galatasaray is showing that it has no urgency to sell.
