Camavinga’s Rallying Cry: “We’re Going to Win Like Always”
Eduardo Camavinga, hero of Real Madrid’s 1-0 win over Deportivo Alavés, delivered an emotional and confident message to the fans following the match—just days ahead of the crucial UEFA Champions League quarter-final second leg against Arsenal.
Having scored the match-winner in Vitoria, Camavinga set his sights on Wednesday’s rematch at the Santiago Bernabéu, where Los Blancos will need to overturn a 3-0 deficit.
“We need all Madridistas around the world”
Speaking to Real Madrid TV, the Frenchman didn’t shy away from the challenge and called on the entire fanbase to back the team:
“We need the support of all the Madridistas around the world. It’s going to be a big game… and we’re going to win like always.”
amavinga praised the team’s clean sheet performance against Alavés and highlighted its importance in boosting morale ahead of the European showdown:
“Today was very important because we have a massive game coming up, and this gives us confidence. We played a very solid game and that’s good for what’s coming on Wednesday.”
The 21-year-old also shared a lighthearted personal detail about his form:
“I’ve been scoring a lot in training this week. My dad always tells me to enjoy myself, and today I managed to do that just like in training.”
Real Madrid will host Arsenal on Wednesday, April 16, needing another iconic comeback to keep their Champions League dreams alive. And if Camavinga’s words are anything to go by, belief within the camp is stronger than ever.
