FC Bayern Munich Pull off a Comeback Against Lazio and Moves on to the Quarter-Finals
FC Bayern Munich headed into the second leg of the UEFA Champions League Quarter-finals trailing 1-0 on aggregate against Lazio. The Germans needed to win by a two-goal margin in Bavaria to secure their spot in the next round.
However, Bayern, despite their strength, couldn't quite execute their plan effectively against a Lazio side managed by Sarri, who was intent on protecting their lead. Yet, by halftime, Bayern was already up 2-0, turning the tie around to 2-1 on aggregate. And to seal the deal, Harry Kane scored a brace to wrap it up 3-1 overall.
With this result, FC Bayern Munich advances to the UEFA Champions League quarter-finals, while Lazio bows out of the tournament after Harry Kane's standout performance with a brace.
