Lamine Yamal shines as MVP and ends Dortmund's home streak in the Champions League
The young forward from Barcelona, Lamine Yamal, was named MVP after his team's 3-2 victory over Borussia Dortmund at the Signal Iduna Park. After the match, Yamal emphasized the importance of "standing strong in tough stadiums like this" and taking chances to score.
Barça excels with resilience and skill at Signal Iduna Park
In the first half, Barça had more possession and clear opportunities, but Dortmund took control in the second half, especially after leveling the score. "We knew how to endure and learned from the match against Betis," Yamal said, referring to mistakes that cost them points at the Benito Villamarín.
The forward also praised Ferran Torres for his two goals and commented on his assist to Raphinha, which nearly ended in a goal: "I already told Rapha I set him up perfectly," he joked. Regarding his signature outside-foot pass, he added, "It's a natural skill I'll keep using if it helps the team." With this win, Barça ends Dortmund's home streak and reinforces their credentials in the Champions League.
