Luis Enrique reveals what injury Dembélé picked up against Arsenal
Luis Enrique, manager of Paris Saint-Germain, confirmed that the reason Ousmane Dembélé had to come off the pitch was due to a “slight discomfort.”
Dembélé doubtful for the return leg in Paris
Dembélé, who scored the opener in the win over Arsenal, was subbed off in the second half after what looked like a muscle issue. The French winger walked out of the Emirates Stadium on his own without limping, but Luis Enrique admitted he's not sure if he’ll be fit for the return leg in Paris next Wednesday.
“Ousmane felt a slight discomfort. We don’t know how bad it is until the tests are done. We’ll try to have him ready for the second leg, but if he’s not, someone else will step in,” the Spanish coach told Movistar.
"It’s going to be a fascinating match"
Talking about the win in London, Luis Enrique said the team accomplished their first objective and are now focused on finishing the job at home.
“We can’t relax, because one goal from them levels the tie. They’ve got nothing to lose since they’re behind. It’s going to be a fascinating match for football fans, but a tough one for the coaches,” he concluded.
