No New NFL Record for Barkley
The Philadelphia Eagles have decided to rest star running back Saquon Barkley in their Week 18 matchup against the New York Giants, effectively concluding his pursuit of the single-season rushing record.
Barkley, who needed 101 yards to break Eric Dickerson's record of 2,105 yards set in 1984, will remain just short of the milestone.
