(VIDEO) Lamine Yamal Eyes Champions League, La Liga, and Copa del Rey Titles with Barcelona in 2025
Lamine Yamal, a young FC Barcelona footballer, has revealed his goals for the upcoming year 2025 and has been very clear about his ambitions.
When asked about his aspirations, the 17-year-old forward expressed his desire to first win La Liga, followed by the Champions League, and finally the Copa del Rey. Achieving this would secure a treble for the Blaugrana. He shared this during a fun interactive segment on the club’s official social media channels.
The Fun Interview with Lamine Yamal
What is Lamine Yamal Doing in Dubai?
The rising star of Barça is focused on his recovery to return to action as soon as possible. Lamine Yamal suffered a Grade 1 sprain in the anterior tibiofibular ligament during the match against Leganés and is currently spending the holiday season in Dubai (UAE) with his cousin Mohamed and his friend Souhaib. The trio shared a photo from a gym on social media, showing that the work continues even during vacations.
Recovery Aimed at the Spanish Super Cup
Although he’s been ruled out for Barça’s Copa del Rey opener on January 4 in Barbastro, Yamal is targeting a return for the Spanish Super Cup semifinal against Athletic Club on January 8. The young winger is undergoing platelet-rich plasma therapy, a treatment designed to accelerate his recovery. This innovative approach could be pivotal in getting him ready to compete for the team’s first trophy of the season.
Extended Stay in Dubai or a Return to Barcelona?
Yamal will not participate in Barça’s open training session on November 29 at Estadi Johan Cruyff, giving him the option to extend his stay in the UAE. However, it’s also possible he might return to Barcelona before the holidays conclude to continue his rehabilitation under the club’s medical and recovery staff.
