Ancelotti Makes his Stance on Real Madrid Clear
Italian coach Carlo Ancelotti has reaffirmed his commitment to Real Madrid, making it clear that he has no intention of leaving before his contract expires in June 2026. Despite rumors linking him to the Brazil national team, the coach was adamant: "I won’t be the one to ask to leave this club."
Speaking at a press conference ahead of the match against Valencia, Ancelotti focused on the present and downplayed speculation about his future. "I’ve already answered this before. My goal is to stay here and fulfill my contract," he stated.
Madrid enters the decisive phase of the season
With the season reaching its crucial stage, the Italian coach emphasized the importance of staying focused on the upcoming challenges, including the Champions League clash against Arsenal. He also addressed the physical condition of his players after the demanding Copa del Rey matches.

"We’re doing well, although there are some doubts because of the fatigue from extra time. We know that Valencia is in great form, but we’re motivated and ready for the battle," he assured.
Regarding the team’s defensive performances, Ancelotti defended the squad’s progress despite conceding six goals in their last two matches at the Santiago Bernabéu. "We’ve improved collectively. There haven’t been major individual mistakes, though we had unfortunate situations like David Alaba’s own goals," he explained.
Squad changes and Mbappé’s impact
The coach also analyzed how the arrival of Kylian Mbappé has influenced the team's playing style. "This year, we’ve gained attacking efficiency thanks to Mbappé, who has already scored 33 goals, but that has forced us to make defensive adjustments. It’s normal when seeking balance," he noted.
As for the lineup against Valencia, Ancelotti hinted at possible rotations, including resting Jude Bellingham. He also suggested that players like Endrick and Arda Güler could get more minutes in this final stretch of the season.
Despite all the speculation surrounding his future, Ancelotti remains firm in his stance: his commitment is to Real Madrid, and his focus is on competing for all the titles still up for grabs.
