Barça Announces Date and Time for Hansi Flick's Presentation
The German coach will be presented this week with the Blaugrana team.
The new Barcelona coach, Hansi Flick, will be officially presented to the media next Thursday, July 25, at the Auditori 1899. This was confirmed by the club in a statement that also mentions the expected resolution of a new signing for the team this week.
During the presentation, Flick will be joined by the club president, Joan Laporta, and both will answer questions from the media for the first time.
Flick has already spoken about his relationship with Deco, who was key in bringing the German to the Barcelona bench. “What I can say is that I have a very good connection with Deco, he does a fantastic job and I’m happy with it. We want to increase the quality of this team and this is the most important thing for me. When I look at the players we have, including the young ones, yes, sometimes I think we need to bring in a player who can win a game, but we also have good young players, we need to help them improve here, this is our job, and also part of Barca’s philosophy,” the German stated.
“We always want to play, to be active, which is very important to me. We try to act whether we have the ball or not. Maybe we want to guide the opponents in the right direction where we want them to be so we can win the ball. Sometimes we will press one way, other times higher, but with the ball, everyone has to feel free to give their best,” he affirmed.
