Morata Says Goodbye to His Atlético de Madrid Teammates
Álvaro Morata, Atlético de Madrid player and captain of the Spanish national team, showed up at his team's training session this afternoon in Los Ángeles de San Rafael (Segovia) to say his goodbyes.
The Spanish forward is heading to AC Milan, where he’ll sign a four-year deal after the club paid his €13 million release clause.
Morata will earn between $5.5 and $6 million per season until 2028, with the option to stay an extra year if Milan wants, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.
Morata became a European champion with the Spanish national team after beating England 2-1 in the final held at the Olympic Stadium in Berlin.
