Rodrygo's Deleted Message About the Bellingham, Mbappé, Vinícius Trio
Real Madrid's new offensive trio was dubbed the BMV, but they left out Rodrygo, and he wasn’t happy about it. He posted this and then deleted it.
Kylian Mbappé’s arrival seems to have pushed Rodrygo Goes out of the media spotlight, to the point where he was left out of the new nickname given to Real Madrid’s offensive trio: BMV.
Bellingham, Mbappé, and Vinicius—no sign of Rodrygo. And that doesn’t seem to have pleased the Brazilian forward. Especially after what happened on his WhatsApp channel.
According to the Spanish press, Rodrygo’s communication team shared a message on that channel, emphasizing the Brazilian’s role.
"Last week, they talked about the Bellingham, Mbappé, and Vini trio, but they’ll have to add an R for Rodrygo to that acronym. We have the offensive quartet and the rest of the team," the message read.
"Each player has their own importance in the matches and will prove their value in the different competitions we’ll participate in," the statement added.
Many of his followers interpreted that message as Rodrygo’s way of asserting his personal role, overshadowed by his three teammates.
However, reports from Spain suggest that this wasn’t Rodrygo’s intention. He aimed to emphasize team unity, which is why, to avoid confusion, the message was deleted.
His performance speaks for itself
The truth is that Rodrygo has been crucial in the first two official matches this season. He performed at a high level against Atalanta in the UEFA Super Cup and scored the goal against Mallorca in La Liga.
In the end, as the saying goes, a player’s real statement is made on the pitch. And Rodrygo always makes his loud and clear.
