Ronald Araujo's Return to Barcelona is Near
Uruguayan defender Ronald Araujo of Barcelona, who underwent surgery at the end of July, completed another training session with Hansi Flick's team on Thursday. Barcelona will face three matches in the next ten days.
Araujo underwent surgery in Finland on July 22 due to a hamstring tendon injury in his right thigh and has been in recovery since then.
The Barcelona center-back has been participating in group training since the beginning of this week and could be called up for one of the next three matches: Betis (December 7), Borussia Dortmund (11), and Leganés (15). It is likely that he will return for the latter, as Flick commented before the Mallorca match: "(Araujo) is very close to being able to play."
In Thursday's session, Andreas Christensen and Ansu Fati were still unavailable, both recovering from injuries.
