Las Palmas 0-2 Barcelona: Olmo and Torres send Flick's team back to LaLiga summit
Barcelona reclaimed top spot in LaLiga thanks to a hard-fought, gritty 2-0 win at Las Palmas on Saturday.
Second-half goals from substitutes Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres saw Barcelona beat Las Palmas 2-0 to return to the top of LaLiga.
Atletico Madrid's win over Valencia earlier on Saturday had seen Barca drop off top spot.
But the Blaugrana ensured they would finish the weekend at the top of the pile, regardless of Real Madrid's result against Girona on Sunday.
Olmo slammed in off the underside of the crossbar in the 62nd minute, after latching onto Lamine Yamal's excellent pass.
Las Palmas, who are 17th, wanted a penalty for handball in the 79th minute, but the referee dismissed the appeals after checking with VAR, deeming there to have been an offside in the build-up.
Barca made their fortune count deep in stoppage time, with Torres firing in to seal the points.
Data Debrief: Ten on the spin for Barca
Hansi Flick's team are now unbeaten in 10 away matches in all competitions (W7 D3). It is the first time they have gone 10 games without losing away from home since they went on a run of 15 games between January and September 2022 (W12 D3).
Barca got by without Robert Lewandowski finding the net.
He has scored against 48 of the 53 teams he has faced in LaLiga and the Bundesliga, but has yet to net against Las Palmas in four appearances.
The veteran striker had four shots on Saturday, but only got one on target.
